Overview

Berlin - Warsaw Express

As Berlin and other eastern European cities continue to become more hip and modern travel destinations, so do the trains that pass through. The high speed Berlin-Warsaw Express whisks travelers between Berlin, Frankfurt, Warsaw, and Poznan several times per day.

The train is operated jointly by Deustche-Bahn (DB), the German national railway company, and PKP, the Polish State Railways. The modern cars offer reclining seats, air conditioned carriages, and trolley service (snacks and drinks) to first class travelers, while those in second class can enjoy comfortable seats and access to the onboard restaurant car.

This train can be booked up to 60 days in advance, and tickets are issued in a paper format, to be shown to the train conductor once travelers are onboard. A tip for budget-conscious travelers : try traveling during an off-peak hour (not morning or evening rush hours) for the best fares.

Make the most of your trip along this historical route in the most modern way : high-speed style on the Berlin-Warsaw Express !
